Description: The Athame This is a lovely Athame - the handle is a piece of English Yew wood we found in Somerset, near to Glastonbury, the Isle of Avalon The blade comes from a reclaimed and upcycled silver plated vintage cutlery blade . The athame is about 9.5 inches long Athame's are ritual knives, not intended to be used to cut objects with, the blade is blunt and not designed to be sharpened. The blade is not perfect, it has some scratches and tarnish due to age. it's about enough to cut butter... Each athame we offer is unique and one of a kind.
