Description: Each bid is for 20 Eocene insects from the Green River Shale of Colorado. Collected in the 1970's, these are all Grade B specimens meaning they can be faint, partials, incomplete, damaged, coated with a preservative etc. However, you can see from the images that many details remain and it is possible to take some nice photographs of them. In the pile shown there are flies, beetles, maggots, plant pieces, even the odd ostracod within the shale. Magnification is required to see the finer details of these 50 million year old fossils. Images show typical specimens like the ones you will receive. We combine shipping on all orders.
