Description: This guitar is better than new as I had it totally set up by John Trefz (https://www.johntrefz.com/) who did excellent work on the frets, re-cut the nut, and made this ax play like butter. There are no scratches on the guitar, but there is a small something on the edge of the metal "E" on the tremolo. It seems like a bit of plastic that covered it when it was new, or could be something else. I tried to get it off, but I did not want to mess with it too much as it really didn't bother me. See photo. The humbuckers are USA made Gibson Mini Humbuckers that sound great. NOTE: I switched the knobs out for chicken head knobs so I could feel where the volume and tone knobs are without looking (and I think they look cool) but I placed the originals on the guitar and I will pack them as well as the Allen wrench needed to loosen/tighten the set screw. If you want me to switch them out before shipping it I'll gladly do that for you. Note 2: Case is in great shape, except for what is shown in the closeup pictures. ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION EPIPHONE WEBSITE: The Crestwood first appeared in 1958 and it was renamed Crestwood Custom in 1959; it was Epiphone's first two-pickup solid body electric guitar design. The headstock is the popular "Batwing" style, with Wilkinson(R) six on a plate in line tuners with metal buttons. The electronics feature a pair of made-in-the USA Gibson(TM) Mini Humbuckers(TM) that are wired to CTS(TM) potentiometers and a Switchcraft 3-way toggle switch and 1/4"output jack. An Epiphone Tremotone vibrato tailpiece gives you extra expressive capabilities. The included 150th Anniversary Historic Hardshell Case features an Epiphone 150th Anniversary logo.
