Description: Ernest Hemingway 1940 For Whom the Bell Tolls1954 The Sun Also Rises1957 A Farewell to ArmsCharles Scribner's Sons Editions All three books are in very good vintage condition. The 1940 For Whom the Bell Tolls book appears unread. The Sun Also Rises has a dented lower front corner and first few pages at low right. Farewell and For Whom have slightly dented top corners. All cloth covers have slight edge fading, and cloth fading when viewed from an angle. All have very slight corner wear. Inside are remarkably clean and flat. Deckle edges in marvelous condition! A Farewell has a fingerprint on the title page. Spines are very nice with faint wear/fading at top and bottom . Nice gilt. Inner blue end papers on Farewell and Sun have aging, but For Whom is ultra clean. A great vintage gift set!
