Ethiopian Handmade Cotton Bag Purse Embroidered

Description: Ethiopian Handmade Cotton Bag Purse Embroidered This is a handmade, handwoven, hand embroidered Ethiopian cotton bag or purse. It measures 15.5 inches (39cm) tall and is 13.5 inches (34cm) wide with a 34 inch (86cm) strap. It is made of a thick homespun natural unbleached Ethiopian cotton and lined with a finer weave cotton material than is used on the outside of the bag. It has about a 2 inch (5 cm) fringe on the bottom and one side is nicely embroidered with a typical Ethiopian pattern in green and red and blue. It is a very light weight bag. It has no inner pockets and it has no zipper or button closure. It is made of natural unbleached handwoven Ethiopian cotton and shows the natural color variations that can occur with natural unbleached cotton. My wife bought this when we lived in Ethiopia in the late 1990's and she has used it occasionally but it has mostly been in storage since that time. It does wash nicely.
