Description: This is a pre-owned etruria mellor vintage teapot. Please note that the flower pattern on the lid is different from the flower pattern on the teapot. When I bought this teapot, the lid was with it. To be honest, I do not know if it is the actual lid for this teapot. The teapot is in very good overall condition. It weighs roughly 1 lb 11 oz. It Is just under 5 and 3/4 inches tall to the top of the lid and is 9 inches wide from the farthest points. The mouth opening is approximately 3 and 1/4 inches. I did not find any chips or cracks. However, there is crazing which is to be expected for a vintage and possibly antiquated piece. The bottom and gold trim show wear. There is a couple of dimples on the lower part of the spout. On the positive side, the floral colors are still vibrant and the inside of the teapot is very clean. This elegant piece would fit warmly in someone's home. Please review all pictures carefully.
