Description: Lovely, elegant, vintage, fine china Evans Aladdin Lamp, Genie Lamp shaped lighter with matching ashtray set. Beautiful teal green glaze is highlighted with gold gilt detailing and gold metal lighter mechanism. The lighter is marked Evans PAT PENDING on the screw that covers the fluid chamber, and US PAT REG19203, which places the patent in 1934. I do not believe this lighter was ever used. The fluid chamber's cotton is new and fresh looking. The wick was never burned. I do not possess flint nor fluid, so I have not tested the lighter. It should work perfectly with the addition of a flint and lighter fluid, but I am no expert. The lighter measures 4" x 2 1/4", the ashtray 4 1/2" x 3 1/2". There are no cracks, chips or missing gold trim. Look at the photos to see the lighter top condition.
