Description: Despite having a title sounding like something my wife could’ve came up with, “Everything You Know Is Wrong” by the late Lloyd Pye delves into the “possible origins” of humanity as it relates to “Bigfoot” and “gods from on high” in the manner that author R.L. Dione would’ve recognized. In a nutshell, Pye posits that evolution, had it followed its natural course of ever-evolving thick-boned, hirsute brutes, should’ve had as heir apparent to the throne of Earth that being known to us as “Bigfoot” which is simply a specimen of megafauna best suited to survive in the natural world. This heir apparent was usurped though by a much physically weaker, far less hairy creature that was “created” (genetically tinkered with) by the aforementioned “gods from on high” hence this world that we live in and call ours is indeed ours albeit by proxy. Thus, the connection between those displaced brutes with the big feet, the “gods from on high,” and a species that is purposely kept ignorant of the “things” that aren’t supposed to exist “out there” and “up there.” Before one bemoans the dollars that they wasted at university learning all the “wrong things,” this book is simply the late author’s two cents on human origins and could be off the mark. Right or wrong? Flip a coin.
