Description: NOTE: Out of my shop for local trial. This B series Evette and Shaeffer was found after excellent storage and brought up to a very fine finished product with complete attention during restoration. This includes the wood which has no cracks or repaired cracks. The keys have been buffed to a fine shine and many have been replated in a hard bright nickel for extended life. The serial number is B4325 which puts production at or around 1950. It comes with two barrels for ideal pitch matching during ensemble play: One is the original and another is custom made to complete this clarinet's particular charms. You get a week to audition it and compare it with local options (all shipping expenses are on the purchaser) and it comes with a one year warranty against any restoration problems. A clarinet of this age will be safe against cracking if cared for properly. It has gone through extensive play testing and key adjustment to restore the new-sound and new-feel of the instrument. All pads are new and corks have been replaced. This is the model and series clarinet I began on myself as a young school player. In college I moved up to the Buffet R13 and since then, onto more exotic clarinets. It is a wonderful instrument geared towards adult players in community orchestras or bands as well as students playing in very fine ensembles. My care and ambition prepares each instrument for easy play-ability while matching them with fine mouthpieces. This assures that the trial period and further playing is fully troublesome. It comes in a new ProTec "Max" case, matched with a very fine and respected Woodwind G-7 mouthpiece, a Buffet swab, cork grease and an excellent Luyben ligature designed by a professional performer..
