Description: This auction is for a Very Scarce J. W. Young & Sons AMBIDEX MARK SEVEN (Type 2) reel introduced in 1964 and made for around a year only. Alwyn Attwood notes in his superb J.W. Young books that due to it's brevity of production the Mark Seven is now very scarcely seen, especially in excellent condition. The Mark Seven Ambidex was the "budget" version of the Mark Six, lacking a line roller and folding handle. This is an excellent condition reel, with excellent paintwork, full working order. Please study the photos carefully as they form a major part of the description. (The reel looks actually better "in the flesh") ITEM WILL BE SENT WELL PACKED, TRACKED AND INSURED I'm selling-off some of my collection so do keep an eye on my other items.
