Explorer Guitar Neck Lower. Vintage 58-76 Gibson Project Repair or Custom Banana

Description: Master Grade, Perfectly Quartersawn Honduran Mahogany Explorer Neck Lower per Vintage Gibson Profile and Specs. For any Custom Build or as a Spot-On Vintage Replacement for your damaged Explorer. The double adjustable truss rod is already installed and it's precision straight and flat with neutral/no tension on the rod. Feels incredible and is feather light. Ready for your vintage or modern 22 fret fretboard, and finished- preferably by others, but let me know if you need a custom made fretboard, or other work. Shaped per the Edge of U2 Specs. and preferences, which is basically a 50's Jazz profile Neck. It's not 1940's fat and chunky, but is certainly not 60's thin, etc. It's basically a 59 Les Paul or Vintage 335, V, Explorer... and per vintage Gibson Specs. GENERAL SPECS: 24.75" Historically Accurate Actual Scale 1-23/32" (43.5 mm) nut It will receive any standard width nut. 15/16" thick at 1st fret if you use a traditional fretboard, but could be cut down to yield as thin as 7/8" thick at 1st fret. 1-1/32" thick at 11th fret if you use a traditional fretboard, but could be cut down considerably for a much faster profile. 2 degree pitch at 19th fret location, per typical Gibson Specs. Extra long tenon at traditional 50s 1-1/2" width. I can cut it down if you need a custom tenon width or offset. I will also provide some scrap fillet material if you may need to rebuild your neck pocket. Heel is currently 1-5/8" tall, so it will cut down to any finish height you may need.
