Description: F. Herder ABR. Sohn Farmers Knife. Very interesting old Herder knife. Hand carved wood handle. I believe the wood is Boxwood. I could be wrong. Handle is very detailed and obviously took a long time to carve. Two horses on top and another horse pulling a plow with farmer. Has a pretty old carbon blade. Interesting shape blade. The band between blade and handle is I believe sterling silver. Tight between blade and handle, no looseness. Carvings on handle are very good, I don't see any cracks or chips. . Has a well fitting leather sheath. Definitely the strangest knife I've seen in a while. Shipped priority mail only to Continental 48 states. Will come fully insured.
