This piece features beautifully cast and applied decoration in the form of shells and rosettes, surrounded by hand-chased scrolls and decorative frills. The rim of the compote is done in a classical leaf and dart design, with a matching border around the foot. The underside is marked sterling silver along with the maker's mark for Tiffany & Co and the letter M for the company director between 1907-1947. This piece is likely from the 1920s. The tazza is in excellent overall condition. The decorations are well-defined and crisp. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
