This ring features a round, semi-bezel set natural Madeira color citrine measuring 5 mm in diameter with an estimated weight of 0.40 carat. Columbia Gem House has branded their citrines of this deep hue and from specified locations as Fire Citrine (R). This gem exhibits dark, strong, reddish orange color with very good eye-clean clarity and is of very good overall cut. Most all citrines are heated to improve the color, and Columbia Gem House indicates that this gem was indeed treated in this traditionally accepted manner. Citrine is a November birthstone, but this ring is a joy to own and wear regardless of your birth month! Look at the video...this really is one of the most spectacularly colored citrines you will ever see; especially in a smallish stone! There are two round, flush-set natural diamonds set in the shoulders of the ring. These diamonds average 1.7 mm in diameter with a manufacturer's stated combined weight of 0.04 carat. These diamonds have an average color graded at H/I and clarity at SI-1 with good overall cut. The bezel and flush setting of the gems and low profile of the ring makes for a comfortable ring to wear with nothing to catch! The mounting has a hand-made designer look and feel, done in solid 14 karat white gold. It is currently finger size 6.5 but is easily sizable by any competent jeweler.
