Thanks to a bumped back plate, there is ample room for high excursion, and the long voice coil gives this driver an xmax of over 7 mm for maximum air displacement. A half roll rubber surround and large diameter flat spider keeps the cone excursion linear. The rigid frame is constructed of cast aluminum and designed to take the beating that the professional sound environment is known for.
