Description: Vintage Farm Journal's Country Cookbook features Home cooking Recipes for every meal. The cookbook is Illustrated with color photography which not only illustrates the finished recipe but also features vintage serving and decor items. The 1972 Revised Edition was originally published in 1959 by Farm Journal, Inc. in preparation for the Farm Journal's 100th year anniversary! The book does have some condition issues in that it was exposed to liquid along the upper edge at one time. The pages are not stuck together but they do have a slight wave. The upper edge is stained black but there is no staining to the pages. Pages are not ripped, torn or missing. The spine is tight. No Dust Jacket. The book still has so much life left in it!All of my items are vintage items being at least 20 years old and therefore are in vintage, used condition. I try to point out any defects, damage or imperfections through my pictures or descriptions. Please ask questions before purchasing if you are concerned about an item’s condition. I am not currently able to accept returns and since each item is a “one of a kind” in my shop, I can’t exchange an item. I do try to clean up an item to the best of my ability but because some items require special care, they may be sold in their “original to me condition”! Again, ask questions before purchasing. If you do purchase something and it is received damaged, please contact me within 14 days of receipt of item so that we can file a claim. I use recycled packing materials to ship items. This means that yes, your item may arrive in an Amazon box (or any other box) that I have saved for shipping! I ship via USPS (Priority, Ground Advantage and Media Mail) for most items.
