Description: THERE ARE TWO VERSION OF THIS OVERLAY. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PHOTOS, AND READ ALL THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE MAKING YOUR PURCHASE. If you are not sure which version you need, please send me a clear photo of your amp panel so I can help you find the right one.This easy to install vinyl decal changes the hard-to-see white letters on a chrome background to forward facing white letters on a black background. If your numbers and letters have worn off, this decal will bring your control panel back to life. Also, if you have a black face plate and the lettering has worn off, this decal will fix that, too.When it arrives, carefully remove the decal from the shipping box, gently unroll, and lay flat, preferably in a warm place to help it flatten out. Carefully remove your knobs, then peel your decal from the backing, line it up, and lay it down over the old panel. Smooth it out, starting from the middle and work your way to the edges. Please read the following carefully to make your choice:Made in MEXICO Version - The current version made in Mexico from 2002 and on. It has staggered holes where the 1/4" jacks are offset from the control pots. See photos.Made in USA Version - The original ones made in the USA from '96 to '98. This version has the holes for the jacks in line with the control pots instead of staggered, as shown in the photos. Please let me know which one you need so I can send the right decal. Also, note that some earlier made in MEXICO models used the old USA chassis, so please verify your control layout.Both the USA and Mexico model overlays come in a Standard size or Oversized version.The standard size version, 2.25"x20", is the easiest to install. It lays over the top of the faceplate without having to drop the chassis or remove the back panel. You only need to remove the knobs, clean the panel well, and lay it down. It may show a little Chrome around the edge, some buyers have used a black Magic Marker to cover that up.The oversized version, 2.75"×20.5", and requires you to remove the chassis for installation. Because it is oversized, it fits nicely under the cabinet and wraps over the back edge for a real clean look once the chassis is reinstalled. This is a good choice if you plan to take the amp apart for mod's or restoration.Again, if you are unsure which one you have, please send me a photo of your amp faceplate prior to placing your order so I can help you with your choice. The decal has a laminated matte finish, so the lettering won't rub off.
