FENDER USA 60th Anniversary Empress Telecaster 2012 Antique White

Description: For sale is a beautiful Limited Edition Telecaster from Fender. Part of their 60th Anniversary celebration of the Telecaster in 2011,the Telebration series as Fender called it, this Empress wood Telecaster was part of the release they did for the month of May that year. From March through December they released a guitar as part of the Telebration, each a different and unique rendition of one of the most prolific guitars ever created. This Antique White Telecaster, made of Empress wood, (paulownia wood), is not only a treat to look upon but at only 6 lbs. 0 oz. is one of the lightest Telecasters you will ever find. Tonally this guitar is incredibly well balanced and very responsive. It has a very nice resonance and is not overly chimey but definitely has the Tele tone. The neck is a nice thin American Standard neck with some pretty jumbo frets. The pickups are Hot Single-Coil Tele with Alnico3 magnets in the neck and bridge, and the guitar is wired with Fender's Greasebucket Tone circuit. Cosmetically the guitar is in excellent shape with only four little chips along the edges.The guitar does come with the hard shell case shown in the photos, as well as a guitar strap, locking key, and new set of strings. This is a really great anniversary model with some great features and is definitely a rare bird. I have a second one exactly like this that I am keeping.
