Description: This fine Chinese Qing or early Republic period Paktong Censor has a beautiful pierced lid with a central dragon looking straight up so that incense issues directly from his mouth surrounded by clouds. The sides of the censer also four dragons seeking the pearl of wisdom and the piece stands on three naturalistic legs with lion mouth knees. Its base is cast with an apocryphal reign marks.
