While much better-known for its world-class tanzanite (and other gem species) crystals, Merelani has also produced some of the world’s finest and most distinctive pyrite crystals, and this is a fine large example, showing an unusual combination of pyritohedral and trisoctahedral crystal forms, with other additional crystal faces as well. Some minor damage as seen in the photos, but overall in good condition for this find.
