This is a beautiful ANTIQUE SILVER PLATED LAWN TENNIS TROPHY PLAQUE depicting a VICTORIAN TENNIS MATCH in front of a CROWD OF ONLOOKERS. 7 1/4 inches (185mm) tall, by 6 inches (150mm) wide. The workmanship is excellent, with good detailing (showing the early style of rackets and the period clothing). It is in very good antique condition with one or two dings, but no major damage. The solder around the edge would suggest that it has once been part of a larger trophy shield. This is a fine example of its type and it would make a great display piece and be a good addition to any collection. Please look closely at the photos for condition and type. 100 grams. No reserve.
