Description: Very scarce original poster for the first annual Robot Wars held in San Francisco at Fort Mason on August 20, 1994. Created by ILM employee Marc Thorpe, apparently 1,000 people were in attendance. Footage of the event can be found online. This giant poster measures 35.25 by 23.5 inches and artwork was done by San Francisco's own Spain Rodriguez. Mark Pauline made a special presentation and artwork by Clayton Bailey was exhibited. Music and sounds provided by Air Liquide, Jack Tamul and Mark Setrakian. This event led to many more, television shows, etc.
