FLAMINGOS LP - End # 304 -- FLAMINGO SERENADE - Mono, 1959

Description: End Records 12-inch 33 RPM LP # 304 is "Flamingo Serenade" by the Flamingos. It is mono and it is an original 1959 pressing, with the cutting date "3-16-59" etched into the dead wax. The only other text etched into the dead wax are the inconsistent or mis-matched matrix numbers "END LP 205-A" and "END LP 205-B" respectively. (I believe this is a rare variation - all the other copies I've seen have the numbers "304-A" and "304-B" in the dead wax) The record looks to be in very heavily played condition, dull from wear, and riddled with surface scuffs and scratches. I've played both sides on my Audio-Technica turntable, and there were several forward jumps on both sides (no repeats), and fairly constantly audible background crackle and hiss. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment. The cover is also in used and worn condition, with the top seam totally split but the other two seams reasonably intact, plus some light surface soiling and edge wear.
