The large flanged base ensures the electrode cannot penetrate too far, along with giving the wearer a feeling of security and comfort. It also provides an additional contact area so its very popular when used vaginally as it stimulates the labial area as well and with the machined grip ring to aid insertion and removal overall this is a definite winner. The design of the electrode has the contacts are at the top and bottom, providing excellent contact and a more natural feeling compared to some other designs available.
