Up for Sale: The flask you are bidding on is shown in the images with the tape measure and is the flask you will received. It is growing in a 16 oz plastic container. The blooming images show the species well. [5526] Contents: Approximately 15 well developed seedlings that are ready to come out of flask. The Species: This is a recently described species (2012) that is appealing in or out of flower. The succulent, textured leaves hug the mount and produce sparkling 1/4" flowers. It was described from plants from northern Vietnam growing between 1800 to 3000 ft elevation. Culture: This species needs to be grown mounted where it can dry quickly and remain dry for a few days. I grow it on hard wood or cork without any water retentive material. I've grown it very well with 56F minimum nights, 80F days with success. They have done well for me when I hang the mount on a Cattleya basket and only water it when i water the Cattleya.I believe it will do well in warmer temperatures. Use dilute fertilizer. About this flask: I take great pride in producing flasks with strong seedlings that are ready to come out of flask and have a very good survival rate. The survival of these seedlings is dependent on the conditions where they will be growing and the skill of the grower. I will shake off most of the medium, treat them with beneficial microbes and fungicide and put them in a zip bag. If your prefer to have them shipped in flask you must let me know that. Whether they are in flask or bagged, you should be prepared to pot them up shortly after receiving.Shipping & Handling Charge: It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the weather in the delivery area and let me know if special precautions are necessary.Packing and shipping for the first plant or flask is US $13.95; additional plants or flasks in the same shipment are only $1.50 each.
