Description: Flint lid Bell Tone unknown manufacture 1860's (inverted ovals) my name. Two-part mold, good color and clarity. The lid is made of 24 panels each with and inverted oval and stylized petal knob. 1.502 pounds before packing. The lid has the mold marks and straw marks and bubbles common in this era of glassware. Color and clarity are fine and normal for this age of glass, and the impression from the mold is crisp. There is minor mold roughness on underside of the knob.7 15/16" diameter outside and 7 1/4" inside. The inside and outside of rim of lid is chipped. At least 4 of the points have damage.
