Description: Outstanding 1960s or 1970s abstract oil on canvas by listed Argentinian artist Flora Rey (b. 1935). Rey began exhibiting in the 1950s and was one of the founders of the Grupo Buenos Aires, an avant-garde movement that exhibited together in the 1950s. Rey moved to Paris in the 1960s and exhibited at Galerie Bellechasse and Galerie Kerchache in Paris. Rey exhibited throughout Europe, the U.S., and Canada in the 1960s and 1970s and has been living and working in Madrid since 1978. This oil on canvas is signed lower right and measures 15.75" x 21.75". It is in good condition. Framed as shown. Please see my other auctions for more fine paintings and prints.
