Made to the exact state standard used in the 1986 along this bit of Florida state road 869 near Ft. Lauderdale. Signs just like this one, with Cecil welcoming travelers to the expressway, were posted at the entrance to the road, as well as along the entire length of the road until 2005. An original of these is not only very rare to find scrapped, but is a herculean effort to transport; They have also been long-retired from active use. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia. This is a non-reflective sign, printed on steel, with completely accurate layout and fonts. It is 36 by 27 inches and weighs about 24 pounds 12 ounces. It is a faithful rescaling of the original sign, which is about eight feet tall in freeway use.
