Description: For sale is a pair of Vintage Florsheim 30736 Bookbinder Windsor Calfskin The Kenmoor Varsity Longwing Blucher Men's 7.5 D. These shoes feature Florsheim's distinctive and now richly patinaed Bookbinder Windsor Calfskin leather upper, classic Florsheim Longwing Blucher gunboat dress shoe design, round waxed braided brown laces, leather and fabric (for ventilation) lining, leather sockliner, leather insole, leather midsole, leather outsole, stacked leather and rubber Cat's Paw heel, and Goodyear Welted Construction. For reference, here are the approximate measurements (taken along the outsole): Length - just under 11.5" Width (at the ball of foot) - just under 4.25" These shoes have seen a fair amount of wear, and though pretty rough, are serviceable. They appear to have been reheeled, but I suspect the outsole is original (portions are soft, but perfectly serviceable). There are some stress lines and cracking throughout the upper, especially among common flex points (see pictures). There is also a small crack/fissure at the back heel area of the right shoe (see picture). Despite the flaws, the uppers appear stable, and the shoes can be worn. Little things, like taking time to put them on with a shoe horn will help to not worsen these issues. Regardless, given these flaws, I will offer these uncommon shoes at a competitive price. To thoroughly rehydrate these shoes, I first sprayed and soaked them multiple times, inside and out, with Weimans Leather Conditioner. After this, I cleaned and conditioned these shoes, inside and out, with Weimans Leather Wipes, deep cleaned and conditioned with Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner, edge-dressed/polished the sole-sidewall/edge with Saphir Beaute du Cuir Shoe Cream, and polished them with Saphir Beaute du Cuir Shoe Cream.
