Description: DESCRIPTION: A large Flow Blue ladle for a soup tureen. It is unmarked but, based upon the body mold and coloration, this ironstone piece would have been made around Ca. 1890 in England. It has a lovely leaf-like pattern around the rim of the bowl, and darker cobalt blue on the upper handle, with gold highlighting. Given how difficult these large soup ladles are to find and its generic designs, this ladle could pretty much be used with any soup tureen of the mid to late 1800s Flow Blue era. It measures 10” in length and the bowl is 4” in diameter. A lovely old Flow Blue serving piece! CONDITION: There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, crazing or repairs. The cobalt blue is bright and the glaze finish is shiny. EXCELLENT! SHIPPING/INSURANCE: Insurance has already been included in the listed shipping price, and there are no added handling/packaging charges.
