Description: This antique Flow Blue semi-porcelain oval serving platter, about 8" wide and 10" long, was manufactured in the late 1800s by the English ceramic firm Bishop and Stonier. The maker's mark is a caduceus with the words Bisto England and the pattern name: Khan. The transferware platter features a wide floral rim in deep blue with a narrow geometric band (possibly fleur de lis) edging the white center. The scalloped outer rim of the platter has a thin band of gold trim. This antique piece, 140-plus years old, has no cracks or chips but it does have crazing and some gold loss, plus a few minor manufacturing blips. I would use it for decor rather than food service. Please look closely at the photos and email me with questions. I pack carefully and ship same or next business day from Arkansas with tracking. Satisfaction guaranteed or money cheerfully refunded.
