Description: Good Evening, Over 20 years ago I started doing research on the Flying Tigers, The American Volunteer Group. My research led me to becoming good friends with several of the Pilots and my being their manager for several Air and Military Collector Shows. I worked with Tex Hill, Dick Rossi, Peter Wright and Bob Layher. (please see my other e-bay listings). The Photo I am listing tonight Is a 8 x 10 photo that I had autographed by Dick Rossi, Flight Leader, 1st Squadron. This photo originally was reproduced, chemically from a negative owned by Mr.Rossi, and loaned to me. A strip of paper has been placed over the photo to prevent copying. Mr Rossi's tally was 6-1/4 " I had the pleasure of having him along with Peter Wright at the Akron Ohio Air Show In 2003, and the " Show of Shows" Louisville,Ky I found Mr.Rossi to be very personable and a lot of fun to be with. I believe It was his wife, who was very concerned that Dick had sent me the negative of this photograph for me to make copies. If she had known before hand I might not have received It, he also agreed to do shows when she was not around, but we took good care of him and she then trusted my wife and I. The autograph on the photo Is actual real obtained by me when I was his agent for several collector and Air Shows, This Is not a scan reprint or forgery. This Is autographed!!! Hand signed!!! I have scanned copies of notes pertaining to our shows for provenance- Guaranteed to pass any test you want to put It through for authenticity.
