Both volumes are housed in a gray cloth slipcase with red morocco spine label. The text of the novel is printed in 14 different color inks, to signify shifts in time in Benjy's narrative. Laid in is a bookmark with a key to the color code. Spine of the text volume has a couple small scuffs, and one page has a minor wrinkle at the fore-edge. The Commentary volume is fine. Both volumes in fine condition, not appearing to have been read. Slipcase with light shelfwear and with the cloth starting to lift at a couple corners of the opening.
