Adorable one of a kind, Hand Crafted Folk Art Slate Tile Welcome Sign with painted Rooster. The slate is 14" long, 9" wide and about 1/4" thick. A rooster is painted on the front in shades of tan and gold with green tail feathers, red wings and a red waddle. "Welcome" is painted above the rooster in black. The top has a trim of country blue squares and the bottom has the same blue squares with a heart painted in the center. The tile has been coated with a clear finish to protect the paint. There are pre-drilled holes threaded with a grey leather strap knotted in the front to hang it. Excellent condition, perfect for a farmhouse or country kitchen decor. The picture stand shown in the photos is not included in the sale. I am in no way an expert and only try to describe each item to the best of my ability.
