This bracket setup is specifically engineered to use the '66-'72 3-Rod kickdown linkage setup - maintains correct OEM geometry! Will also, of course, be perfect with manual trans, manual shift TorqueFlites, etc., but will NOT work with earlier or later (1-rod, etc.) kickdown linkage.
