Description: Motor mounts. Ford big block 429 460. Handwritten on one set are the years 1957 1958.Those big blocks were introduced by Ford in 1968. Possibly these were custom fabricated for his own build. Found with these motor mounts is an order form from Crites Restoration Products in Ashville, Ohio. The company sold mounts but I don't see this set listed. (A message on the company website reads the business closed Dec. 31 due to the death of the owner.) Measurements in inches:* The gray wedges have a 1-1/8 offset* The gray wedges are 4-1/2 inches long and 3-1/2 inches wide* Center to center the bolt holes are 2-5/16 apart* The black parts are roughly 4-1/2 by 5 These motor mounts come from the garage of a late big block Ford builder. He marked them 1957-58 even though the engines he wrote down were not introduced until 1968. No explanation available. These are in good unused condition. One is marked left, the other right.
