Description: This slabbed Green River, Wyoming Knightia fossil is extremely highly detailed and the preservation was obviously done with meticulous work, as it seems that almost every single tiny bone and detail is visible. There is a small fossil-cataloguing sticker on the back (see photos), with the handwritten notation "F-3." The condition of the slab and fossil seem to be as originally created. We have included a ruler in several of the pictures so the viewer can decide which measurements are the most important to them. In our view, the Fossil Knightia Fish is about ~6.5 to 7" in length, and is a Large Knightia Green River Formation Wyoming Fish, on an ~6.5" X 11" substrate slab.
