Description: This is a section of Fossil Pterosaur bone from the late Cretaceous of Morocco, about 110 million years old. Pterosaurs were flying reptiles that lived along side the dinosaurs. The bone has the red color typical of fossils from the Kem-Kem region of that country and is in good condition. It is probably a section of femur bone, the thigh bone of the animal, as the femur is usually the only round shaped bone in Pterosaurs. The bone is hollow which is typical of Pterosaur bones.
