Dust cover is acceptable, chipped and torn at top and bottom edges but in new Brodart dust cover to protect it. Books is approx. 5-1/4" x 7-3/4" tall, 145 pages in red cloth binding with gold lettering on spine. Bumped edges and corners but still solid. We found four pages with small marks in ink. Still overall in good condition. This is the only book length account ever written of the famous hanging in Ada, Oklahoma, in 1909. The photo of Four Men Hanging (reproduced on the dust jacket) was taken in the light of early dawn about two hours after the event. The small figure seen peering through the old livery barn's gate was Welborn Hope, the author of this book.
