Description: Up for Sale with A Buy It Now: A hand sewn (hand made), framed Cross Stitch based on the sentiment “Home is Where They Love You”. Done in a sampler style with blocks of ABC’s around the entire border and smaller abc’s on the top section as shown. Embellished with 2 rows of roses and in the center “a home with trees”. VERY neatly done and quite even. Not signed but dated 1992 (28 yrs ago). So much time and effort went into the making. Frame measures 21 1/4’ x 17 3/4” X 1” thick. Dollar bill used only for size reference. Done on cream colored ‘cross stitch fabric’, and framed with a single matching mat (mat has some wear at the bottom as shown in the last close-up photo). Within a lovely simple blue frame. This was custom framed (without glass) by the Frame Shack (label in back). Even though it was custom framed, there are some “puckers” within the fabric. Usually they will tack fabric to a sticky board to keep in place, however there are random bubbles that can appear over time (I show this in the side view in photo 7). Despite this it, I think it displays beautifully. You be the judge. The blue frame has corner screws and spring clips & is easy to take apart if you want to change out the mat etc. I did not remove the frame.
