There Marlene saw for the first time how a reverse glass painting is created. She was so enthusiastic that she immediately started painting her own pictures. At first they were small-format, traditional images of saints. 1992Marlene emigrated to Tuscany with Rolf. They restored an old rustico. They made a living from agritourism and the sale of their olive oil. Marlene painted reverse glass paintings in increasingly larger formats. 1999Marlene, together with Rolf, had her first exhibition in the famous Galeria Mentana in Florence . 2000Florence – Galleria via LargaFor the Millennium, Marlene and I were allowed to represent Galleria Mentana 2007Marlene won a prize with the reverse glass painting“ Beach - Torre del Lago ” at the Premio Firenze XXV . The awards ceremony was held in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Exhibitions from 2012 - 2018 2012Marlene took part in the Artistes du Monde competition in Cannes on the Cote d'Azur. She showed the Venetian blue masks and Torre del Lago and received a diploma for her outstanding performance 2013Exhibition with Rolf in Montecatini in the famous Tettuccio-Termen.
