Description: Franciscan Desert Rose - Covered Butter Dish - With Rosebud Finial There is no backstamp, but based on my experience handling Franciscan dishes, especially Desert Rose, I am confident that this is USA made. I believe it is post Gladding McBean & Co, made by company #2 Interpace. Probably 1970s early 1980s, but before 1984 before Wedgwood bought the company and moved it to England. Made in USA, California Really, Really, Almost Excellent Used Condition!! No CRAZING, cracks or repairs. Teeny, Tiny Flea Bites. Please see photos. The chips are in the rose finial. With all my pieces when I bring them home, I hand wash them. I do this because I don’t believe you can truly say there is “no crazing” without getting them wet. Crazing can hide. So, when I say there are no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs, I have done my due diligence to discover any defects.
