It was built between 1400 and 1428 It is one of the few remaining towers of the medieval fortifications that once encircled the whole city of Frankfurt. Today, the tower is one of Frankfurt’s most famous landmarks. The now glazed archway houses a café, which opened a few years ago. Unique 15th-century landmark. Plate measures 1 1/2" diameter Excellent condition. Has been packed since we got it in 1972 From a non-smoking home.
