These degrees were created by Stephen Morin in the 1760s. By 1764, high degrees were established in New Orleans and in 1767 Henry Andrew Francken brought the system to Albany, N.Y. It was incorporated into the Scottish Rite in 1801. Rituals include 4th degree Secret Master to 25th-degree Prince of the Royal Secret.
