Description: This charming French 950 Silver small covered pot has a reed wrapped handle indicating it was designed to hold something hot. Perhaps hot syrup, milk, cream or a personal demitasse pot. The smooth pear shaped body is devoid of decoration except for the elaborate script monogram. The handle was given the most attention with applied Fleur d’Lys mounts and a rosette on top. One dent to the body. The Fleur d’Lys is hallmarked with the Minerva head and a one indicating 950 silver near by the body has a stamp as well.
