Description: A carved standing figure of King Tutankamun wearing the royal headdress topped by the double uraeus. This compelling carving depicts the slender boy king standing with arms crossed holding a crook and a flail. The worn surface of the piece and the cracks in the wood give it an ancient look, though it was probably carved soon after the famous excavation by Howard Carter in 1922. Good scale at 40 inches high. This piece has now been mounted on a black steel base so it will stand safely on its own. More photos coming. H 40 in. x W 5 in. x D 5 in.
