Description: Bouvet was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the French Navy that was built in the 1890s. She was a member of a group of five broadly similar battleships, along with Charles Martel, Jauréguiberry, Carnot, and Masséna, which were ordered in response to the British Royal Sovereign class. Bouvet was the last vessel of the group to be built, and her design was based on that of Charles Martel. Hull is printed as one piece in PLA at 0.15mm layer height, along with the gangplank used to traverse beween the towers. Towers and guns are printed in resin to maximize details. The guns are all poseable, with the exception of the 4 small guns mounted in the towers. See last photo for piece layout (I missed a couple of the secondary 137mm armament, but I will include all 8). There is a total of 27 pieces for this model kit.- 1 hull piece (PLA)- 1 gangway piece (PLA)- 2 305mm gun turrets- 2 274mm gun turrets- 8 137mm gun turrets- 4 100mm gun turrets- 8 crane arms- 1 aft tower (aftercastle)- 1 forward tower (forecastle) I will provide some simple assembly instructions on how to best assemble the model, but feel free to reach out if you have questions. All resin pieces will be cured. Some pieces will require minor cleanup (trimming and sanding). Superglue is required to assemble as this is a mixed media model.
