Description: Set of 2 vintage folding knives. The larger one is a lockback, it has minor pitting on the lock bar, slight patina on the blade. It has been used, and carried. No splits to wood or chips in wood handles. Please see photos. Slight blade play, as expected form years of service. rivetted pivot could possibly be tightened. Still locks firmly, with no up/down play. (blade play is only in the side to side direction) The smaller knife is in good to good+ condition, wood is still shiny, shows minor wear. Appears to have seen relatively little use for it's age. This smaller folder is a slipjoint, non-locking. No blade play. Both are sodbuster pattern knives, and constitute a matching set. These are very old knives. These knives are sold as-is, as collector items. Though they are still in functional shape, with useable working sharpness. Blades are carbon steel, and must be oiled to prevent rust. Photos show measurements in inches. 1 inch = 2.54 cm Compared to the following common Buck models, the larger knife is approx. the size of a a 110, the smaller is about the size of a 501, but the handle is thicker.
