Part Number: Replaces dealer part number: 748-974, 748974,75226747, 94532757, 95174196, 95265271, 95299706 Fitting for the following vehicles: 2011-2015 Chevy Cruze with Express Up & Down Front Left (NOTE:Connector: 7 pins) 2016 Chevy Cruze Limited with Express Up & Down Front Left (NOTE:Connector: 7 pins) Package: 1x Window regulator with Motor in a box Install the window regulator as follows: Part 1: Disconnecting the Window from the Motor 1.Remove the interior door panel. 2.Gently remove the plastic door cover. 3.Locate the window mounting bolts. 4.Move the window if necessary to access the bolts. 5.Remove the bolts while a friend supports the window. 6.Raise the window up into the door frame. 7.Use masking tape to secure the window in place. Part 2: Disconnecting the Motor and Regulator 8.Remove the window regulator bolts. 9.Locate and remove the window motor mounting bolts. 10.Disconnect the motor wiring harness connector. 11.Remove the motor and regulator through the access port. 12. Connect the regulator to the new motor. Part 3: Installing a New Power Window Motor 13.Slide the new motor and regulator back into place. 14.Replace the mounting bolts. 15.Reconnect the electrical connector. 16.Remove the masking tape and lower the window back down. 17.Insert the window mounting bolts. 18.Reinstall the plastic liner and interior panel. Tech Notes: Installation Various Makes and Models This window lift motor contains express/auto function and will need to be “learned” to function properly. To learn your window lift motor please follow the OEM learn procedure, normally found in the vehicle owner’s manual, OR the learn procedure stated below. If your window motor has been previously learned and does not close properly, it will need to be unlearned first. To unlearn the window lift motor please follow the OEM unlearn procedure OR the unlearn procedure stated below. Learning the window lift motor: 1. Press and hold the window switch down until the window has been fully opened, continue to hold the window switch down for 3 more seconds. 2. Immediately press and hold the window switch up until the window has been fully closed, continue to hold the window switch up for 3 more seconds. 3. The motor should now be learned and auto-up should function properly. To confirm this press autoup and verify if the window continues to move after the switch has been released. If the window does not continue to move, or if it does not fully close, please repeat steps 1-3. Un-learn the window lift motor: 1. Press auto-up OR auto-down (second window switch detent) and then unplug the motor connector WHILE THE WINDOW IS IN MOTION. 2. The motor should now be unlearned and auto-up should no longer function. To confirm this press auto-up and verify that the window does not move after the switch has been released. If the window continues to move, please repeat Step 1. BRN8427
