This piece combines the artistry of Fry's famed cut glass division and their unique opalescent ovenware, invented in the late teens. Fry closed for good in the opening years of the 1930s, and experts generally agree that no other company has produced a glass with quite the same optical effects. Platter is a rare large size 13½" x 19¼", 5/8" tall approx.and decorated in-house with a cut thistle pattern. No defects.
